[  her  brows  are  knitted  together  in  a  stressed  kind  of  show,   her  words  sarcastic  but  of  no  harm  as  she  turns  her  head  back  to  look  at  him,   then  turning  back  to  focus  on  the  greenery  of  their  unmarked  and  humid  path.  ]

@KNIGHTSDEBT    ,        “    mad  ??    no — it is me .   i’m TIRED of her ,  tired of her kingdom.   tired of how they all look at her in such a light that she should never be under !   ”    alina’s people loved her ,  no matter what she did it seemed.   and after so many years of this , it finally annoyed mera — made her snap.   “  if that child is anything like her .. it’ll make the same mistakes over and over again.   ”     she calmed some ,  but not much ,  only enough to where she wouldn’t continue to yell .. at least not in the moment.   “  and if my mind and heart are telling me the same thing.  ”   it was both a question and a statement.   all her life she’d been fearful of being just like her great grandmother .. it was only a few months ago she’d given up trying to prevent it.    “ so long as she lives ,  summerhal is in constant danger ..  so are the other kingdoms.   what am i to do ?   sit here and watch it happen ?  cower to her once more ”   words spoken with a hint of disgust as her eyes glistened with a mix of anger ,  fear ,  sadness,   and many other things she felt in that moment.   “  it takes much time until a baby is born ..  time I cant give alina.  ” 

@sunscaped  (..)  he  listens  with  intent  to  her  spite ,   he  knew  this  stage  from  many  past  dilemmas  in  her  queenship .   it  was  disheartening  to  see  ,    but  nonetheless  sitting  there  and  doing  nothing  would  have  ended  in  further  disaster  .   he  doesn't  flinch  as  she  stands ,  voice  raised .   rather  he  stands  stiff  and  straight ,   staring  straight  ahead  ,     jaw  clenched  .    he  cared  for  her  a  significant  amount  ,    and  watching  her  turn  into  this  would  understandably  be  diffcult  for  any  two  close  people .  "  you  sound  / mad /  ,   mera  ,   this  isn't  you  .   if  you  want  to  kill  her  then  let  her  have  her  child  first  --  and  before  you  kill  that  child ,  give  it  a  chance  to  live ,   to  decide  for  itself  what  it  stands  for .  "   his  brows  are  furrowed ,   his  own  voice  straining  as  he  tries  to  keep  himself  from  raising  his  voice  to  a  yell  .   "  you're  not  a  merciless  killer ,   you're  just  a  woman .  a  woman  with  responsibilities  that  she  / knows /  how  to  uphold  -  you  have  a  trackrecord  of  that  actually .  so  / PLEASE /  start  using  your  mind  to  think  again  and  if  it  helps ,   your  heart  too .  "

@KNIGHTSDEBT   ,     her eyes stayed fixed on the flames of the hearth in front of her rather than the golden paradise that was her kingdom.    “  is that so ?   well ,  we’ve known each since we were children - i wouldn’t be surprised .  ”   she should be happy reminiscing but her tone and features say otherwise.   with another swig of her drink if her drink she had already finished it.   “ you’d rather sit in here and watch me break things rather than listen ?   interesting choice ,  but i won’t object .  ” she knew that wasn’t what he meant ,  but she was too spiteful right now to cooperate.   the hand on her shoulder caused her to tense ,  well ,  only slightly more than she already was.   her teeth clenched as he spoke.   blood began to boil.  “ i’m sure you’d love me to just leave them be ,  hm ?  i want her dead.   no matter what ,  I WANT HER DEAD ! ”   she finally yelled ,  rising from her seat quickly and whipping her head to face him.   empty glass falling from her hand and shattering in the process.

"  whether  she  loves  me  or  not  does  not  matter  as  long  as  she  is  safe  .   i'd  just  rather  if  she  were  to  do  so  ,   it'd  be  with  someone  more  honourable  than  you  -  i'd  hate  for  her  to  embarrass  herself  .  "

‘ she doesn’t love you the way you want to though - does she? ’ he wasn’t going to stop he wanted to see how many pushing she could push . ‘ you know deep down you’ll /never/ be enough for her , you will one day watch her love someone else and then what will you do dragon boy? ’

            jumping slightly , she whipped around her light eyes meeting him . she gulped lightly as she nodded . ‘ where am i. . .?’ she inquired , pulling the cloak tighter to her if possible , if he knew her to be a child of the forest he’d probably bring her in for treason . ‘ you’re a knight , yes ? ’

@faewoes  (..)  draven  squints  ,    brushing  a  hand  through  golden  locks  in  slight  question  .   the  sun's  bright  so  perhaps  it's  just  reflection ,  however  his  eyes  do  not  deceive  him  as  he  sees  a  girl  ,   looking  lost  -  a  child  of  the  forest  maybe  .
