I was in tears after reading A Pawn in a chess game idk if you will see this but that story genuinely changed the trajectory of my life, I couldn’t stop shaking after finishing it and I almost ripped my hair out. You are such a great writer

@CandiedChaos695 AHH I'VE STOPPED WRITING FRERARD THO but back then I was considering writing sthg in which Frank grows up and misses Gee like crazy and kinda looks for him. He finds out stuff hinted in book 1 like Mikey is dead and Gerard is hallucinating him. Mokey got killed by their abusive parents and Gee went nuts and burnt down their house. He got locked away in psych ward, but got out at 18. Then Frank finds him but plot twist it's not Gerard, Frank is really just making him up and going insane bc of the trauma. He puts his life in danger and the real Gerard finds him. I wasn't sure what to do from that point but in the end Gerard burns down an asylum, and other plot twist, actually Gerard just died in that fire which was actually set by Frank. Basically Frank went from hallucinating Gee to ''becoming'' Gee himself - he had spent so much time obsessing over Gee that he kind of began embodying him, all his personality traits and insanity, including pyromania. Which killed the real Gee in the fire
