New year - New profile picture - same Goals. I'm still working on the first draft of the sequel to Argent Glass, tentatively named Argent Stone. And I was thinking, what's better? A Krispy Kreme or Hostess Donettes?

richellerenae

@MichaelStephens966 everyone should have Twinkies in their Go Bag. lol

@richellerenae like the new pic. My pick is the hostess. Krispy Kreme are greasy to me. Twinkies are the greatest they last forever. Lol

Whew! Its been a bit'o'time since I came around this block. Doesn't look like much has changed during my hiatus. Still being DMd by a zillion fake profiles. You'd think Wattpad would take some of that money they are earning and spend it on cleaning up the accounts preying on young people who just want a safe space to write and read, but nope.

Anyway, thank you to the legit *real* peeps who started following me and reading my stories while I was away. You're the best! My inbox is open for chatting, but be forewarned. I've no tolerance for liars or people with devious motives. Oh, and, I'm flakey and prone to disappearing off and on without warning. I'm an aquarius, what can I say.

NaNo's coming soon. I'm supposed to be prepping for my 50k words, but I have no idea what I want to work on so I may be pantsing it this year. We'll see. I've got a couple weeks left to figure it out and a couple novels kind of plotted out.

          Take care, pretty people!

@MichaelStephens966 A crushed vertebra sounds horrifying. I would bet Med Tech has changed in the last 10 years. I vote for you to talk to a surgeon or spine specialist about your numbness. But even if you don't ('cause I really wonder if I would if I were in your shoes), there are for sure a zillion things to photograph besides landscapes. And if you're still learning 60 years on, there's no chance for me. (Insert laughing crying emoji here.)

@richellerenae it's never to late to start learning the art of photography. I waited until I was 15 to start. That was about 60 years ago and I'm still trying to learn it better.

@richellerenae No it's the physical. I have problems with numbness in my legs and feet that is making it harder for me to stay stable on my feet. Uneven ground is really getting hard. Crushed a vertebra in my back in 2009 and did some serious nerve damage that could have left me paralyzed, so I've never complained about the numbness.

Hello @richellerenae. I just realized that you had followed me! Thanks for the follow it’s been a while cause I just happened to notice your profile name on a nether profile lol
I’m impressed with your many stories and the story about the Area 51 sounds great to read. Hope you don’t mind. I’m a huge fan of ancient aliens on the history channel. I love documentaries or reading the many stories here on Wattpad!! And supporting you and others who have shared their stories. I usually follow back when a Wattpader follows me. Thanks again I truly appreciate you. I look forward to checking out your story! :-))❤️

Hi @debrlynn ! It was so nice to hear from you. Thank you for all the kind words. It was very nice to wake up this dreary Michigan morning to read them. Being such a big fan of Alien stories, I do hope you will drop a note or two anywhere in Argent Glass that doesn't make sense from a fan's perspective. Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Richelle. Thanks for giving 'The Last Scarecrow' a chance and thank you for the typos, text amends, and votes. All hugely appreciated. I hope you continue to enjoy the adventure with Erin, Twelve, and Raven. Have an excellent day! NjH

@Neiljhart I'm in Michigan, US. We have 4 solid seasons. Winter with sleet, hail, snow, and ice. Summer with muggy warmth and two seasons of mosquitos. Sloppy, moody Spring. And glorious beautiful Autumn. 80 degrees in April is unseasonably warm, but won't be our warmest day by a long shot. We often slip into the hundreds in July and/or August. And then on the flip side -10 in the winter isn't unusual. I will keep trying to remember the book, but I make no promises because I read it 35 years ago and frankly I struggle with what I had for dinner last night on a good day. Anyway, nice to hear back from you.

Ooh, I'd be interested to know what the book is if you happen to remember it. 80 degrees sounds super hot. Whereabouts on the planet are you? It's about 65 here in London which is MAX for me. Not a huge fan of summer. Prefer Autumn and Winter. Anyway, bye for now. Have an excellent day, Richelle :)

@Neiljhart Hi Neil! I'm enjoying the story. It reminds me of a story from my childhood, but I haven't been able to tickle out of my brain what the title was. I can almost picture the cover, but it still evading me. Im glad to hear you are good with me pointing out typos. Some people get weird about that. I also appreciate them - thats the best part about wattpad. Everyone contributes to making the story better! I hope you are having a good week. We are headed for 80 degrees this weekend, then dropping back to the 40s next week. Going to enjoy the warm while I can though! :)
