(this is mayfields ur name twin btw!) ofc i return to the app too late and  miss all ur announcements lol! so for whenever you see this: i just wanted to say that your writing has always been such an inspiration to read and u are so so incredibly talented as an author. i'm buying your book after i get paid and i'm SO excited to read it!! i'm literally beaming with joy, i'm so happy and proud of you! your time on wattpad left such a huge impact on me and so many others (we all miss you so much!) so thank you for sharing your art with us. goodbye until next time! <3

HELLO GANG LONG TIME NO SEE!
          
          as we are all aware, i left wattpad. and while i have missed all of you lovely people tremendously, i’ve been much better off without the stresses that came alongside being a part of this community for me. however, i promised in my goodbye message that it would not be the last you’d see of me. i am happy to say that i’ve returned bearing good news!
          
          these last few months haven’t been great for me on the whole. but amidst my struggling, i wrote a poetry book. that book has now been self-published on amazon!! 
          
          ‘everything is not poetic’ is a novella written in verse, through a series of narrative poems that i have poured my whole heart into. if you’d like to purchase a copy, you can at the link below!

hi everyone! it’s been a while but i hope you’re doing well. 
          
          incredibly long story short: i am no longer going to write fanfiction on wattpad.
          
          the aforementioned incredibly long story: for a very long time (a most of my wattpad career long time), i have been writing not because i love it, but because i truly did not know what i would do to myself if i did not. as of right now, i can finally say that i am in a place mentally where i don’t need to write so incessantly. and so, i’ve decided to give up my stories (if anyone is interested in writing any plots i’ve had over the years, please do reach out!)
          
          fear not, however, as this is not the last you’ll be seeing from me on wattpad. i’ll always be here, checking my notifications twice daily, seeing how all of you lovely people are doing. and perhaps one day you’ll even see one of the various dark academia contemporaries bouncing around in my brain put to paper. but for the time being, this is the end of ownthelight content.
          
          since this era is coming to a close, i’d like to thank you for the unrelenting support these last few years. this community means the absolute world to me and i’m sure you know that i’d never fully leave it. so please, please continue to tag me in your stories! i love reading them and i love supporting you.
