I value honesty and self assessment. I love comedy and how it can be used to expose hypocrisy in society. I also dabble in art, though it gives me an appreciation more than anything else. I tend to write shorter pieces, poems mostly. I love music, and listen to a wide variety. Expression is extremely important to me in whatever form it takes. I wish I was more disciplined. 

I go through phases where my focus is on art for a bit, music, sports or other projects. But it does cycle back around, so please be patient.
    
     I am a perfectionist, and I don't believe anybody who gives their time to read something I wrote deserves anything other than the best that I know how to write. So I don't upload on a schedule, just when I feel a piece is ready. I also edit existing pieces a lot.

I honestly should read more than i do. i do enjoy reading and authors like hemingway, fitzgerald and a few modern authors and various poets. but i dont dissect and study books in order to learn nearly as much as i would like.
 
Overall my reasons for being on this silly site are mostly internal. I like to challenge myself to find new things in my world, the strange and wonderful, and find a clever, insightful, interesting and beautiful way of articulating them. And this is a forum to do that.

I realize I've been here awhile so here are my posted works from newest to oldest with a quick summary. 

2020 (2020-2023 piece by piece, no big theme), // mermaids // (2019 encouraging, hopeful), black heart valentine coal collective (2017 anti establishment, a bit fatalistic), prism wave and limit (2016 personal, one fear or flaw per piece), 1o9ol (2015 style over substance, fantasyland), to olympia to astoria and finally the blue grass glassland (2014 trying to find my voice). i have a few older works but am too embarrassed to post them and also would like to try to highlight my later work.
