happy birthday aspen! god, where do i even start. i am so incredibly lucky to have met someone like you and be able to spend time exploring your universe. you are truly one of a kind and full of so many surprises. you always manage to light up my days in a fit of laughter and just be there for me, and for that i am so grateful. truthfully, i am not the best with words, but you mean a whole damn lot to me. we met at a very interesting time of my life to say the least; however, i wouldn’t have it any other way. as cheesy and cliche this all sounds, i look forward to every moment i spend with you and i can not wait for the many more to come. i hope your birthday is all you could ever want, hope, and dream for, you deserve all the happiness out there [and more!]. i am wishing you nothing but the best, always.

hi its that time of the year where i get extremely sappy. i wrote this what felt like a million times because i wanted to get it just right, but i came to the conclusion that nothing i can say will ever amount to everything i feel about you. the way you have dealt with my annoying ass for a year now?! we need to get you an award as soon as possible. no but really jokes aside, i can’t believe we’ve known each other for a year now. its hard to wrap my head around. you are by far my favorite person to talk to, to laugh with, to be myself with. my favorite person. no matter how much time passes it will always be you. anytime anything happens you’re the first person i want to tell. everything about you excites me, it really is never a dull moment. there is zero competition when it comes to you. you are, and will always be, incredibly special to me. thank you for sticking around for me. you’re a gem! i love you lots.
