READ IT ALL Yesterday, history was made. Sadly, it was not the good kind. A bad man was elected as the president of the United States yesterday, and I do not agree with this. Our country, in the last 200 or so years, has taken 2 steps up the ladder to equality. By electing that monster, we've taken 4 steps back.
We had the option to elect a man by the name of Bernie Sanders into office. He would have done well by us. We even had the opportunity for the first time in the history of this god forsaken country to elect a woman. Not only is she a woman, but she would have done so much to help us reach equality.
She promised that she would try to get more rights for the LGBT community, the black community. She promised that she would try to get equal pay, finally, for both genders.

Sadly, however, that did not happen. The idiots that voted decided to vote for a man who had a trial for raping a 13 year old girl. He sexually assaulted 12 women and bragged about it. His modelling agency got caught trafficking young girls and hiding them in a basement, and so much more. He and the now vice president have threatened to set up conversion camps, across the US. The main way to "fix" us? Shock therapy. Electrocution.
It is not okay that last night, I went to sleep fearing for my life. I have never had to do that and now that this monster of a man is our president, I no longer feel safe out of the confines of my own home.
But I will continue to fight. I will continue to speak out and I encourage you to do the same. They can not silence us, not if you don't let them. For the sacrifices your country and mine, never stop fighting.
He will never be my president. #notmypresident
