When I was a kid, I used to write my author bio over and over again, imagining a time when it would appear on the back of a book. But now faced with it, I've had a hard time figuring out where to start!

I'm a 30-something journalist and self-proclaimed bibliophile who co-owns an editing and design firm (with my brother!) by day, and a fiction writer by night. Storytelling is my first love -- always has been, always will be -- but I'm lucky that my career closely echos that passion: I've worked in magazine publishing for more than a decade.

I have two little girls , Sophie and Juliette, who are the loves of my life, and I come from a big, loud, crazy, French Canadian-Italian family who will be delighted that I'm finally publishing one of the many stories in my head.

So welcome. I hope you enjoy what you read, and if you can help me make it better, I'm all ears. (Professional writer/editor = tough skin.)
