As a child, I grew up watching movies where characters entered board games or princes fought to free their loves. That was my first interaction with the genre I absolutely began to adore with time.
I realized that all the stories I watched or read were almost always western, with glimpses of a few Indian characters here and there, just to increase their readership among Indian audience. There was a stark absence of our own Indian heroes and villains.
Hence I decided to begin a genre of Indian mythological characters and stories. My books on Jarota are a precursor to that. Wattpad India Popular Choice Award 2019 to my first book greatly strengthened my beliefs in the plots.
I hope to create a beautiful world of Apsaras, Kimpurushas, Yakshas and several magical Indian characters that readers can visualize and cherish for aeons.
I also write poetry and romance occasionally.
Hope you enjoy my work. Please do not hesitate to post relevant feedback as it will help me learn from you.
Thanks for reading!
