I’m so sorry about your grandmother. However, I’m glad I was able to help you out through that tough time fam. At the time, I didn’t think it would have that much impact, but the fact that you remember this is a bit of a wake up call I think everyone needs, because not everyone gets your advertisement Christmas, and we need to support each other when things aren’t okay, instead of saying away. I hope you have a magnificent Christmas, because you deserve it. <3

@HighFunctioningSarah Hello. You probably don't remember this but a year ago you sent me this message which made a dark day a little bright. Last year on Boxing Day, my grandma passed away. Christmas was lonely. So, so lonely. The thing about losing someone is that friends, when you need them, avoid you because they don't know what to say. And to have the knowledge that a complete stranger cared was really nice. I posted on my message board to get some thoughts out, thinking no one would notice, let alone read it. But you did. You were a tiny miracle that brought a lot of hope to 2017. You're thinking; It was just a sentence, I'm making a big deal outta this. But it's obviously had such an impact that I remember it a year later. Thank you for your kindness, and wishing you the very best Christmas someone could ever have.

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope 2017 is better for you than 2016.

So yeah, tomorrow marks the 74th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor bombings which kick started some of the worst six years the world has ever had.
On December the 7th, 1941, just before eight am, Japanese fighter planes attacked the American naval base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. I can try and sugar coat it, and make it nice, but I can't. I can write about how war was so bad in my books, but I think that I will never, ever, know how truly horrific and painful WW2 was. In this attack, fighter jets managed to destroy nearly 20 American naval vessels, and more than 2,000 American soldiers and sailors died in the attack, and another 1,000 were injured.
Roosevelt described it as 'a date that will live in infamy'. And it is, it really is. I'm so thankful for the soldiers that fought in war, not only for their countries, but for the world. SO THANKFUL.
And yet today we are still pointing our guns at each other, bombing each other and hurting each other. Did they not die for nothing?
Today give someone a hug, love em like you're going to lose them and just be nice.

I just finished watching The Battle of The Five Armies. Good lord. I have never, EVER cried that much for a movie in, I dunno, years. The Hobbit series in general is so fantastic. I can't even. My heart just was so mangled by it. Srsly. Ugh, I'm a girl and Legolas' hair is kinda better than mine
