I am in a mad love affair with words.

So whether they be my own or those found in a good book, I love to indulge in the written word.

I adore the Victorian era and steampunk, and I'm enthralled by dark tales filled with antiheroes and the macabre. At the same time, I'm a sucker for sweet coffee shop romances set in the chilly months of autumn.

I think I'd describe my style (and my personality) as twistedly whimsical.

In addition to reading and writing, I enjoy many other forms of geekery, including, but not limited to:
*Video games (mostly on Steam)
*Musical theatre
And many, many more.
Feel free to ask me about any of these interests. I can fangirl with the best of them!

I can't seem to stick to either American or British spellings despite having been born and raised in the US (seriously, I have no idea where this came from).

I'm a textbook INFJ who has a strange obsession with bones, mad scientists, and Mary Shelley.

Citizen of Elgin (Rochabel lives on in my heart 🖤)

My newest passion is dreadpunk, and I'm determined to make it a better known subgenre. If you'd like to learn more about it, feel free to ask me!

I take my writing seriously, and I want to put my best work out there for my readers. Any feedback and constructive criticism is more than welcome. Don't worry, I won't bite (unless you insult my cat).

If you ask me to read your writing, I'm going to assume you're looking for constructive criticism. If you're simply interested in praise, I'm probably not the reader for you.

I DO NOT follow for follow.
