[  truth be told,  elaine HAD seen worse … been through so much worse than just a pack of rabid animals.  wolves were nothing on her list for top ten worst things to encounter.  ]  tell them to do their worst.   [  arms crossed,  she turns to face them.  she’s challenging them to do something.  it’d give her all the more excuse to kill them all and not feel a single ounce of guilt for it.  ]

[  a bold move— shelby remains in her same spot. there’s a moment where she caught a scent of the gum in her pocket but ignores it. she grists her teeth before speaking  ]  no. i can’t promise they won’t though.  [  although her gaze was locked with el’s, low growls of her pack members could be heard all around the pair. shelby wouldn’t allow them to attack but she hoped it would be enough for her to go home. for all she knew, she was just another threat that could be resolved by a simple scare.  ]

manage it better.   (  she'd hold the dagger out for the other to take.  )

@saintwept      when you have multiples of things it kind of gets hard to manage.  …thanks though.

somewhere.   i'd expect a hunter to take better care of their dagger.
