Finally! A new chapter. Sorry that took so long, but it is a little longer than usual if that makes up for it :) Also, I didn't get a chance to clean it up much so feel free to point out any issues- plot wise as well. I think it too me so long because this was just a clunky chapter to work with.

Anyways, I think I'll see writing a chapter for The Opal Witch will clear my brain a bit.

          Hope y'all enjoy!

I promise I'm working on new content, but y'all... I am the worst cliche. I don't like to write at home. I get distracted. I miss sitting in coffee shops surrounded by the scent of breakfast blend and vanilla. There's just enough sound (usually)- a mixture of typing and talking. It's my happy place.

But, staying home is what's most important. So, I'm forcing myself to create a space in my house for writing. It's slow going. I'm about halfway through a chapter.

Anyone have any tips for writing at home? What's your must have? Coffee? Tea? Music? Silence? Tell me all your tricks!

@BellaLei17 oh! I’ll have to check him out because I have the same problem with lyrics.

@heater0387 I like to listen to music when I write but sometimes the lyrics can be distracting. My solution is to listen to John Powell music. It's all instrumental with no distracting lyrics, and the music itself is meant to be uplifting and inspiring. (btw he wrote the soundtracks to the HtTYD movies)

@SabineDeMauvais that sounds divine! I’m going to have to try the mint/lemon oil. I love burning a lemon mint candle but sometimes it’s too heavy.

My goal is to have a new chapter posted today. Maybe 2! It’s been a bit of an adjustment learning to work from home!

So, I think for now I'm going to be focusing on finishing Forbidden. That's not to say The Opal Witch sequel won't get a little love here and there, but I'd like to wrap up one story before I begin the sequel for Southern Charms. That'll happen a lot faster if I buckle down and focus on story. Then, I can work between those two books for awhile.

          Thoughts?

I gotta say...Fell head over heels with Southern Charms...and then it ended.

The last time I felt emotions like that was with the Song of the Wanderer series when he published what I thought was the last book but then on the very last page it said To Be Continued and then the book got thrown across the room.

Why did you do this to me????

Does it help if I tell you there will be a sequel :) :) :)
