Hey team,

I've just unpublished both Gentle Predator and Scarred Predator. The books have existed for nearly 10 years and I was happy to let them live on here despite the negative comments some people think are okay to make, but I've just found listings for them on GoodReads and since I'm still writing (and hoping to actually publish a book) I really didn't love seeing them there when it was just meant to be a fun project when I was 14.

I know I don't respond to messages (sorry) but I'm grateful to every single person who's read the books, and left kind comments, or messaged me to tell me how much they mean to them. I haven't responded for years but it really does make me happy to know that someone out there has enjoyed my book (shitty as it may be).

I might rewrite them one day (because I've gotten so many comments about the grammar that I just think it'll be a fun exercise to see how much I've improved) but I don't know if I'll post them here if I do.

If, by some chance, you want to keep in touch and read anything else I write, you can find me on instagram at @lerouxreads. I actually respond to messages there.

Thank you for all of your support over the last decade.

          	Gen x

I am currently working on my debut novel, 'Out of the Dark' - an erotic mafia romance embedded on a crime action-thriller plot. Check out my story once and follow me for more stories. It's ranking #35 in Luxury and I am trying to enter this story for wattys awards.
          Thank you. ❤️

I read a lot - works from different genres and authors. The werewolf shifter books I've perused were just okay. Found a blurb on Facebook with your 9-chapter rough draft of "Gentle Predator" and was impressed. Whoever told you that it was bad needs to be slapped - hard. A little research landed me on this site and reading the current final draft along with "Scarred Predator" and your note about abandoning the works. After seeing that you wrote them as a teenager... I'm seriously impressed. This is one of a handful of works where, after reading the first part, I would buy the series. I strongly recommend that you:
          - Ignore your critics. It's your story not theirs. Read the suggestions but only take what fits with your vision.
          - Don't completely rewrite "Gentle Predator". Maybe a tweak here or there only if you think it adds to the story. It flows nicely into "Scarred Predator".
          - Use a story board to help overcome your writer's block if you haven't already. Finish "Scarred Predator" and see if you can come up with a 3rd installment. However,
          - Instead of publishing 3 small works with cliff hangers that everyone hates, I suggest you reduce the chapter count (combine some) in each volume & put them together as 1 work with a prologue that joins the pieces, perhaps spoken by a survivor of the last battle, as the flashback life review before death of a main character, as an elder telling stories to the next generation or as the goddess reflecting on her children. Too many authors publish 130 page novellas and do a disservice to their readers.

There is enough depth in the story to pull the reader in and hold them. Your main characters are solid. Good description of settings. Nice plot twists with potential for more following Keon's story. Potential to pull 2ndary characters like Michael back into the main story line. There are a few editing mistakes but they're easily fixed. Don't abandon this to oblivion. It's honestly too good to waste.

I just want you to know that you are a cert talented writer. I've read a lot of books on Wattpad and other sites and I'm honestly going to say that you are in my top 10 favorite writers. I feel the passion in your characters. I enjoyed Gentle Predator so much that I went ahead and started reading Scarred Predator even though it was 'On Hold'. That is something that I do Not do. There are so ma y books on Wattpad and other sites that I absolutely will not start I book that is incomplete and for you....I made an exception. You are THAT GOOD!
I wish you well and hope that one day we will see you back here and writing once again.
