To be completely honest, I think neglect my books because as an adult— I have lost all of my desire to write about high schoolers. That’s my honest to God truth y’all. And I’m sorry, bc I don’t feel like those stories are bad. I just cannot connect to it the way I used to. I would love to finish Haven— and I hope to do that one of these days but it’s hard writing about characters you don’t really feel like you know anymore. I am wanting to return to writing soon, with something new I’ve been working on— so if you’re interested, stay tuned for that! No more teenagers though lol.

no same here but it’s like i feel so bad whenever i get messages from people asking if i can make a book about younger people bc i know i don’t have the passion to do it anymore and it just feels a bit weird to write about high schoolers, for example, bc i’m a young adult in my 20s

I definitely understand cause even as a reader I cant get into books about high schoolers. I cant even imagine how it is as a writer.

@garicksons Not an author, but I def understand you’re not at that stage anymore and it’s okay. But I would definitely read anything you wrote regardless of if it was based in high school if that helps

I had stopped writing so long ago. Does it even make sense to complete the ones I started? Or let them exist as they are?

UnbotheredFloridian

@garicksons you could compile unfinished books into one book to have a record of them, and just not bother touching them again.

You should complete the ones that you've started
