heluuu!! for anyone who still remembers me: I'm back lol. i've been very active on my Instagram (@quills.and.fiction) so follow me there heheh. but honestly, things have been BAD at home and I'm not really in the mood to socialise. so I think I'm going to resort to writing for a bit, let that energy out. pray for me lol, things are heating up here.

hii, hello, i'm vanshika and i've been inactive for months now. again. 
          
          wellll, what happened was after my 'emo update' i got covid and so, may was a disastrous month for me. thankfully, i'm alright now. so yeah, june was recovery month, july has been 2478573 years long and it's been bad, to say the least. i haven't written anything all this while, but i have to write a short story for my english assignment and so, i am back on this orange website to try and get some shit done. the plan is simple: write a short story and then get working on the heist. it's a badly written novella and needs TONS of editing. i hope to finish editing it properly before this stupid year ends. we shall see.

a slightly emo update coming up: i hit the 20k milestone. ASBAHSFDHSJKHDSJHDJSHJS.
          
          i know this isn't a huge deal to a lot of you, but to me it is. i've been participating in the onc for the past two years, and every year i'd give up after hitting the 2k milestone. i wouldn't even TRY to reach the 8k milestone. and so this year when i decided to take part in the onc again, i was certain i'd give up again. because that's what always happens! i didn't tell anyone i was doing this (every time i did it with a friend + told my family i was participating). i told my family when i was about to hit the 8k milestone. i started writing for the 20k milestone when the results were announced, on 22 april. i wrote over 10k words in 10 days. i finished writing a novella of over 20k words. these are things i never thought i could do, because i had let myself down again and again and again. 
          and having achieved these things today, i'm happy and proud of myself.

onc update: hi! since we're so close to the deadline, i am now editing the chapters i wrote offline and also completing the story. it's at 19.1k words right now, with 5 chapters to be edited and the last chapter to be written. if you have saved the heist to your library, i apologise for flooding your notifs with all the chapter updates. please bear with me!

onc update: finished editing the first 6 chapters! my word count is at 18.8k words now. i still have 6 more chapters to edit AND i need to write the ending. and we only have 2 days till the submission. anxious anxious anxious
