just saw that one clip again of jameela jamil explaining how tv is being dumbed down so people can watch content while they’re also on their phone and i know it’s been happening but stranger things s5 made me realize how bad it was

the pacing, the questionable dialogue,
the writing… okay, great gowns. beautiful
gowns. episode four made it better & the
character dynamics were fun, but damn the
writing has really taken a hit. it’s still okay tho
anyway this is truly the last thing i’ll say until dec 25th. i did watch those episodes in one sitting so i was still entertained.
like wdym you’re trying to the stakes but retcon the s4 ending, put a bandaid over it and then while showing how the big bad is doing some damage again, he doesn’t even end up killing anyone. like what are the stakes even if we’re halfway through the season and there are no real setbacks
