Thank you.”       He bites his tongue about the subject.   Looking away quickly,   the bits of armor in his attire bump together as he moves to the aforementioned stand.

            ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ after being banished, kane got obsessed with fixing his mistake, and since no common healer knew how to heal scars, he turned to magic—dark magic, more specifically. he bought multiple illegal items a warlock had said would help heal his scar and brought them to said warlock. but, he was lied to, and whatever ointment that had been made and infused within his marred skin had given him this type of infection that, simultaneously, makes him stronger and is slowly killing him.
            
            ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ it had spread, through his eye and into his brain, feeding off of it, making it deadly. he is dying, and can’t find it within himself to care anymore. he is damned.

            ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ kane madden is a knight and a bodyguard for the royal family of his kingdom, who’s been close with his own kin for centuries. he had become one of the best warriors of his generation, so when he thought he was ready he set out to kill a legendary monster that has haunted the forest surrounding their land ever since it was founded, with encouragement from his family and people.
            
            ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ but he failed, and ended up with a scar; starting at his head, ending around his chin. so, as a response to his failure, he was banished. the royalty couldn’t be seen nor affiliated with a disappointment, and neither could his family, as they were also seen as higher-ups.
