My new novel, "Night, Forgotten," is now posted IN FULL! If you read the first draft during #NaNoWriMo back in 2017, your comments inspired the changes to characters and plot twists that appear in the edited version. Enjoy!
I'm an award-winning documentary filmmaker, Teen Vogue columnist, and Harvard graduate with a recent Ph.D. In 2013, I founded The UnSlut Project, an online community where young survivors of sexual assault and harassment can share their experiences and find solidarity. I posted my annotated middle school diary on Wattpad as "The UnSlut Project" and found immense support from readers, who began sharing their own experiences ("Your UnSlut Project") and building momentum in the #MeToo movement. The UnSlut Project now has over 15.6M reads on Wattpad and was published by Zest Books in 2015. You can order "UnSlut: A Diary and a Memoir" online, or find it at a bookstore near you: https://lernerbooks.com/shop/show/19800
If you have had an experience you'd like to share, or if you can offer some words of advice and encouragement to young women who need them, please contribute here: http://www.unslutproject.com/share-your-story.html
