Elle Fury is a pen name based on my given name and surname. (Don't try to guess, I guarantee it won't be right).

I aspire to become a published author, but my love for writing comes first.

I'm bilingual. Afrikaans is my native language. I love dogs and share two naughty, tennis-ball lovers called Rosie and Kiara with my husband. My go-to comforts/helpers are caffeine (of course), lemon meringue, sweet chili Doritos which hopefully never gets discontinued, feel-good music like Tones & I and Sunset Sweatshop, and The Walking Dead. I think people should live in the moment and take less photographs. Jodi Picoult is hands down THE BEST and Me Before You by Jojo Moyes absolutely destroyed me.

When I pick out a read, I tend to lean towards Romance and YA (oh, such guilty pleasures), but I'll pretty much devour any captivating book in other genres apart from fanfics and horrors (sorry, not my cuppa').
