There's an army of mechanical monsters with their sights set on world domination! Would you rather fight robots, androids, cyborgs, or AIs? Can't choose? Check out our reading list Robots, and Aliens, and Others, Oh My! for inspiration!

If you were to plan an uprising, who here on Wattpad would be your rebellion partner?

@Sharon1800 well... She seems like a tough girl. A good rebellion partner in an uprising.

Dawn fawn, she’s awesome and helps me write some of my more popular books with incredible insight. One of my book characters Grace is based on her in real life. We went to school together and she knows how to put people in their place. She’d be the girl to chase a guy with a chainsaw for calling her sister a cat lady. If you’re ever brain fried she’s the person to turn to. That’s why if there was an uprising they’d all be crying and begging for mercy as she danced around them playing flute and quoting Voltron.

@Anime 's April Antics Contest is ending in only 3 DAYS! If you are just hearing about it now, you still have time! Take a look at the prompt below and see if your mischievous side is interested!

Zashiki Warashi are house spirits, fond of mischief, loved by all, and believed to bring great fortune and riches to those whose houses it haunts. They like causing mischief.

To celebrate April Fool's Day, Anime is bringing you a very prank-filled contest!

Your goal is to incorporate these beings into a short story in any way you like, given that it follows our simple guidelines, which you can read more about here: https://www.wattpad.com/858829285-contests-april-antics-open

          Deadline is April 30, 2020 11:59PM EST.

If you were a citizen in a dystopian society, would you play by the rules or fight back?

@dystopianapocalypse
            Fight Back but in secret.
First I would have to find out what secrets they are hiding.
            You know...gather intelligence.
Then recruit some rebels to the cause.
            Then revolution time...
BTW, my rebel name is Morpheus

I would probably play by the rules and fight back subtly and with little things.

Assuming total societal breakdown, what is your post-apocalyptic weapon of choice?

@dystopianapocalypse The bow and arrow is a very versatile weapon as well if one were skilled in its use. Besides taking down targets silently one could use simple ingredients to poison the tips (I.e. bleach or laundry detergent). There are also methods of shooting metal pellets or caltrops at foes with a certain reusable arrow and with this you could weaponize the debris of the apocalypse. If you know/learn some carpentry or fletching you’ll never run out of bows and arrows. You can fish with a bow. With the DIY know-how you’ll be practicing one could raid a fishing store or meat locker for large hooks and line to make a grapple arrow. Then if you survive till ammo runs out (or weapons aren’t as available) you’ll be set. I didn’t even mention fire arrows or learning to shoot more than one arrow at once. In zombie stories characters stop practice shooting to save ammo but if you make your own arrows you can practice continuously.

I also wouldn’t mind the smaller pry-bar personally. Use it like a crowbar but a good one handed weapon. One would be remiss to not keep a good side arm until ammo ran dry because we ALL know people are going to be shooting each other lol.

@dystopianapocalypse words first , food next , running shoes third , I’d take a sword but we ain’t in medival times so I gues I’ll take a dagger 4th and a small gun 5th , 6th gather my friends and pile our resources. 7th if they weren’t allergic I’d ride them all out of there on horse back , easily out runs a car through forest
