hi everyone. i'm not sure how else to say this, but - i'm not coming back to wattpad.
when i first joined wattpad when i was 13 i was in such a dark place. my writing/attitude became very negative and deeply affected those around me. i left for about 2-3 years, and things got slightly better. i thought that when i joined the second time around, it wouldn't happen again, but i was wrong. i have fallen back into that dark place, and it began to reflect in/affect my writing and how i would treat my friends. after lots of thinking, i have come to realize that it would be best if i didn't return to wattpad - ever. it's just too toxic of a place for me, and a bad memory that plunges me back into my bad habits. it's not good for you guys, it's not good for my friends, and it's certainly not good for me.
i am so appreciative of all the love and support i've gotten on my writing here. it has been an absolutely amazing experience. i've met some incredible people along the way - you all know who you are. thank you so much for the good times and the bad, bc every moment has helped me grow and learn and come to this point where i am strong enough to realize that i need to put myself and my mental health first.
i know this isn't much of an explanation, but the situations are very personal to me and i don't want to share very much detail. i hope this at least serves as some kind of closure. i will be deleting my account by the end of today.
