I am a huge fan of polysyndeton. I don't know what my writing style would be like without it. I am largely influenced by music and books and my own life experiences. 

Please, if you haven't yet, look into the following shows:
- Sherlock (no words to describe the level of genius)
- Southland (like feels upon feels upon feels)
- Revenge
- The Blacklist
- Orphan Black
- Aaaaaaand of course, my guilty pleasure, Dance Moms. 

I'm into a lot of different kinds of music, but mostly enjoy piano pop rock and alternative. I'll listen to bits and pieces of artists' work, but the following is a list of complete albums I'm absolutely in love with. And it's rare that I fully enjoy every song on an album, so that's saying something.

- The Blessed Unrest by Sara Bareilles (soooo underrated)
- Chariot by Gavin DeGraw (especially the stripped version, another underrated album)
- Night Visions by Imagine Dragons ('nuff said, dude)
- Anything by The Fray (no one puts as much heart and soul into their music)
- Also check out a lovely Korean indie band called 10cm. Lovely.

As for books, there are really too many great ones to mention, but here are some I've enjoyed recently.

- The Kitchen God's Wife by Amy Tan (please please please read this)
- Home by Toni Morrison
- Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
- Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier
- Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer
