2023 was an absolute nightmare (easily the worst, most stressful, and thankless year of my adult life), but I'm alive and kicking and finally back online.

The last book of the Blood Magic Saga WILL be completed this year! Stay tuned for a more official, proper announcement by the end of February.

@deathofcool Yay! Wow, that means I have been following along for years, time really goes by quickly.
Kind reminder, anything can happen in life, good or bad. Of course your priority will be your real life. While it is nice to know you are coming back, you don't need to justify your absence to anybody. I am sorry you went though all that, and I am glad things are settling down. I hope you and your family are doing fine now!

I think it is horrible to leave all of your readers hanging like this.

@KendraEdgecomb Hi! Thanks for reading. I 100% agree that it is horrible. But hey, so was getting evicted last year and losing our home of seventeen years. Our family has had a pretty lousy run of luck since the pandemic hit and it's been very hard to write (for free, no less) when we've been leaping from crisis to crisis. That said, the series IS being completed - because to be completely honest, I probably hate that it's not done yet even more than you do. Rebels Chapter 39 is going up on my Patreon next week and I should have a much better idea about when Wattpad updates will resume in about three to four weeks. (We have a new home now and are mostly settled in, so more and more time for a return to writing is finally becoming available again. Yay!)

Subject: We want to license your stories and transform them into amazing Visual Novels

          Dear Monica,
          I hope you're well.

I represent Wuri, a platform specializing in converting compelling stories like yours into immersive visual novels.

Your narratives on Wattpad have captivated us, and we're excited about the potential collaboration with a talented author like you.

Our format creates stories in a vivid, comic-like format, presenting a distinct and immersive experience, making it very different from the long-form text format prevalent on platforms like Wattpad.

We are committed to fostering a collaborative and rewarding partnership with authors. As such, we offer an 'upfront license fee' along with a revenue sharing model, where authors receive share of the revenue generated from their stories.

We are confident that this partnership could open up an exciting new avenue for bringing your stories to life and reaching a broader audience.

Would you be open to further discussing this exciting opportunity? If so, would request you to please share your contact details (email or phone number) to facilitate this dialogue (you can mail us at admin@wuri.ai).

Thank you for considering this collaboration. We look forward to potentially enriching your stories with a visual dimension.

          Warm regards,
          Pratik Team Wuri

I just wanted to say thank you for pointing out that I needed to accept constructive criticism to get better at writing. I know yiu won’t remember me, but I appreciate that you told me the truth of what I needed to do to become a better writer. I was young and didn’t want to take anyone’s criticism.

@DebbieJane95 The journey of a writer is a lifelong one. Happy to hear that you are still on that path, and some of my words had an impact (even if not at the time). I was that young writer once too. :)
