I do sometimes do genuine read-for-reads but I am taking a bit of a hiatus to catch up with my extensive reading lists.

I write YA and women's fiction with lots of romance. My main characters are mostly lost in their own heads. My style is sometimes whimsical and dreamy and other times sarcastic and humorous.

I am also a curator for the short story profile By Invitation Only Erotica @InvitationOnlyErotic.

I enjoy reading:  Romance, historical, teen and YA, women's lit, travel, culturally diverse lit, retold fairytales, light fantasy, Tim Burton style creepy or spooky and steamy.  I love humor and quirkiness, poignancy, repressed emotion, whimsy, heart-warming moments and sensuality.

Some of my favorite stories and series are from Eva Ibbotson, LM Montgomery, Rainbow Rowell, Suburgatory, Silicon Valley, Pen15, Robin Sloane, Isabel Allende.  I am a bit obsessed with the Lockwood & Co. books.

I don't generally enjoy science-fiction, space, dystopian and werewolves.  I don't like being made to feel hopeless or desolate in a book.
