My husband and I live in the eastern sierra with our Airedale, Arlo. I love hiking, writing, cooking, and painting. I'm a retired HR Manager. I've written 3 books, The Sea Glass Necklace, and A Shadow in the Dessert, both in the mystery/thriller genre and Journey's Child, general fiction. My stories always have an Airedale terrier in them, as I find this particular breed to be very entertaining.
I have recently written a short story for the One Million Project, OMP. Started by Jason Greenfield, OMP is a charity that organizes artists who are willing to volunteer their talent and time for cancer research and the battle against homelessness. Its goal is to raise one million pounds.  
A three volume set of 40 stories each will be released beginning in February 2018.  Each book has its own genre,  Horror/Thriller, SciFi/Fanasty and Fiction/Poetry. My story titled A Visit with Myself (yes, it has an Airedale) is in the fiction anthology.  
Many of the authors contributing to OMP are published authors in their own right and have comprised entertaining and well thought-out stories that will give the reader many hours of pleasure. Please check out this extraordinary event for two very serious and well deserving causes. You will be both giving and receiving.  These stories, can be purchased together or separately and will make a wonderful and thoughtful gift.
