          	Last year I participated in an open mic competition, and we had to sing our original songs. It was my very first open mic, and I was over the moon for having qualified the first round. The ambience, the experience, the few moments that I had on stage is something I'm going to cherish forever. I had sung Dil Jaanta Hai, and I'm so freaking overwhelmed right now because I just found out this article that the organizers of the competition had published and it's been six months since it has been out (ofc i live under a rock, wdym?)

Gonna steal your box here for a second di! (Please don't hate me) i just know that you have a TON of followers and maybe they'll follow this too? Idk.
          Guys. Getting straight to it, okay? There's this search engine called Ecosia and it's chrome and Google but it's better! It plants trees with you search the web and it has nurseries and partners in Ghana, Uganda and many more countries in Africa, Indonesia, and South America! They've planted over 100 million trees, people!! This is not sponsored, not paid. (I'm too young for that anyway?) This out of good will! They're tackling climate change, hunger, water problems and so much more! They've empowered lots of women and youth too!
          They've got us an easy way, now isn't it our job to support them?

I just finished reading DJH and DDH and it literally left a whole in my heart. I wish the book didn’t end. I always though that maybe the whole book would end in a cliche and everyone makes up and Arvika and Vansh end up together but the way you ended it was so much better than I could have expected. Reading the book left me raw and sobbing at like 2 in the morning. The story meant so much to me and I could tell you pored you’re heart into it. It’s probably my favorite book even though I can’t understand Hindi! I can only imagine how much more amazing it was for those who do know Hindi! I literally love your writing so much and can’t wait for DB. Any idea when it might be finished? I just hate to read books that are on going. Also, you should consider publishing DJH and DDH. But you might have to covered it to English. All the best and stay blessed ❤️❤️ ~ Chaithra

@chaithra08 Namoshtaii!

            This is really so sweet. Thank you so much for reading DJH and DDH, I'm super glad and thankful. The fact that you read in spite of not knowing Hindi really warms my heart, I feel flattered mahn!

            Dil Beparwah is almost as big of a project as DJH was for me, so I can't really put a time frame on it. I understand your concerns, so all I can say is that I try to update weekly, on Fridays :)

            Thanks again!

Hi! I am currently reading Dil Jaanta Hai by you. A slow reader since Vika, tho interesting, needs time to understand. I have to ask a question. How did you decide to take the risk of writing in Hinglish? Since, you know, you will be alienating half the population? I, too, want to add bits of Hindi, Maithili and Bhojpuri( my mother tongue) but don't for fear of not even getting a read. Hence, I was real curious.

AccidentalClick

@AccidentalClick that's a nice idea. Maybe I'll start slow and the write a full blown Hinglish novel.

@AccidentalClick I don’t know ANY hindi at all but i use the english parts and context clues to read the story! it’s definitely worth it. I would say if you wanted to write a story with another language, use a lot of english descriptions and maybe have someone who doesn’t know the other language read it to see if they understand. hope i could have helped! ❤️

@AccidentalClick lol hopefully. But reads are imp to grow as writer. Readers are after all the end game for a writer. When no one reads, it makes me question whether the book is worth writing. Ofc that doesn't mean degrading my needs, so maybe I'll add in some, too!

Hellooo chaashnee!
           Can I just start with how truly addicting your writing is? Heck, girl, how do you even do that?
          Plus in DJH Arvika's inner thoughts are so relatable. And yes, I was not joking about quoting every sentence this girl says. I love Khaled Hosseini, I mean how can fictional characters can maker you cross so much?
          Anyhow, I love DJH already and good luck on your upcoming works!
