how’d you know i live alone? [he did.] i could have a roommate… a sister… i could still live with my parents. could’ve moved in with them. [preston suggested, grinning at the thought as his head twisted in nico’s direction at the same time his hand collided with his shoulder, as if on cue. he followed the guide and turned left, taking his first swig from the beer.] mm.. yeah. alcoholism is scary bad. i’d hope you’re not an alcoholic.

@trckrd it’s probably because you live alone, pretty boy. [ nico’s touch was light but purposeful as he placed his hand on the other’s shoulder, guiding him with a gentle nudge. the subtle pressure directed him to pivot left, leading him into the spacious, warmly lit living room. ] i can't say i’m an alcoholic, depends on the occasion though.

noted. [nods the blonde, talking a step through the doorway, pleased in his knowledge of the shoe rule. he scoped the place further— trying not to make his curiosity too obvious, although doing his best to make sure his attire was evidently intrigued and appreciative of the space. it wasn’t something he put too much thought into, though. he semi-doubted nico would be looking his way.] i never get **that** wasted. [a small dismissive scoff is partnered with a head shake as he, with caution and a polite demeanour about his movement, ventured further through the home, consciously expecting nico to follow closely behind him.] i’m pretty good at holding my liquor, i’d say. i don’t drink much, though. i’ll hold my hands up. [and, he did, facing the other full-on. but with the same upbeat smile he usually wore.] do you drink a lot?
