@CitizenSamurai Thanks for this :) Did I tell I also played a masquerade ball/ vinyl release party with a country-noir band the day I put out this chapter? And then I stopped writing because I had to release my outer space concept album and it was a lot of work, but now I'm ready to write again. In summation: clearly I am a complete psycho.

Looks like I'm settling into an update-every-two-weeks pattern. I'm a shadow of my pre-covid glory, but it could be worse. I think the vaccine helped and/or placeboed my long-haul symptoms! 5 stars, highly recommend!!

I'm stalled! Oops sorry! I think like three or four people are reading the new book and one of them is my mom, which is, like, A LOT of people to let down every week, especially when one is your mom, so that doesn't feel great.
But I dunno. If the words don't come then the words don't come you know? Need some time or something.

@CitizenSamurai thanks for the encouragement, you always know just what I need to hear :) I have read the Artist's Way! I'm getting back into the morning pages this week, and it's feeling good. You're totally right about 'filling the well', I usually do things like that too--hit up the library or used bookstores for a day or sit in a cafe... Haven't done any of that stuff since the pandemic hit, and I've failed to find at-home substitutes for them. Looks like it'll be over soon though, the vaccines are finally rolling out :) Hope your writing is going well!

@awglen You remind me of the stories of Kerouac, buzzing on speed, typing onto telegraph paper rolls, sweating through shirts and hanging them up to dry while writing for 48 hours or more at a time.

My computer is frozen! And I actually finished the chapter last night but then it was late and it needed a final blah blah blah
Do you think this BBFB's awkward teenage phase? Do you think this is that middle season where the writer has a breakdown and the story goes to shirt for a little while and it gets better in season 3 but nobody notices and everyone just kind of forgets about it until the next generation gets weirdly into it like 15 years later?
Whatever, I'll post it sometime.
