Writing is not for the faint of heart. 

The longer I write, the more I realize how much there is to learn. And in the end, talent could only take you so far. To become a traditionally published author means you need to become the most tenacious person possible. Persevere, persevere, and persevere.

Having my books read and loved was the closest I've ever gotten to sprouting wings and taking flight.  I flew high with my books until I hovered within reach of the golden gate of publication; and I fell endlessly when my hopes were dashed, my vulnerable wings clipped by rejection. 

Yet, I must go on, because I've flown high in the sky - the safety of the ground can no longer fulfill me. 

Dear readers, please give me the courage to fly. Every read, vote and words of encouragement touches my heart.
