hello everyone!
          
          i hope everyone is doing amazing! i just wanted to send something out to let you guys know that i'm not dead. i'm still working on my latest novel so i'm so sorry about all of the silence. this book is the most personal thing that i've ever written and it's seriously taking me some time to get through it. it may not be my best by any means but definitely personal. i'm considering publishing the first chapter or at least an excerpt because i've had you guys waiting much too long. 
          
          aside from writing, life has been quite eventful but good. i just got a new puppy to keep my other pup company and i'm completely in love but for those of you with puppies, you know exactly how it is.

Hello! I am very new to ur books and I’m deciding to read torn, however, I was wondering if u could tell me if it’s a happy ending or not? The chapters titled at the end scares me. If u don’t want to spoil for other readers, do u mind dming me?

hey guys!
          
          just wanted to check in with everyone. i'm still working on my latest book. i used to upload a couple of chapters at a time but i guess that in my development as a writer, i now much prefer to just finish a book in its entirety so that i can just upload the whole thing all at once. 
          
          i think i've been working on 'from ashes of us' on and off since about 2019, but with some SERIOUS gaps in between. i've probably only worked on it for and accumulated total of three, maybe four months, if at that! i went through something incredibly traumatic back in 2017 and i'm still attempting to heal that trauma, even though everything in my life is better than i ever could've imagined now. 
          
          i'm sure i mentioned in a previous author's note how i spent 2020, but for the life of me can't remember how the hell i spent 2021. i went on vacation multiple times, that's about all i can remember. it doesn't help that i recently got diagnosed with ADHD and as i grow older, i'm finding it harder and harder to focus and i'm finding that i'm also having trouble recalling every day words. it is THE MOST FRUSTRATING thing as a writer. but as now, i've chosen not to take any medication. 
          
          i hope everyone is doing well! i'm doing okay, thankfully!  my husband just left back to work for the next two weeks and we will be going on vacation again as soon as he gets back. 
          
          but i guess i just wanted to put it out there that i am still working on my latest novel and that i'm seriously itching to share it with those of you who are still interested in my writing. writing, and ultimately uploading a new book, has always been such a rush for me! i just lost sight of it for a little while with everything that i had going on.
