Welcome! I'm Ann.  
I won a Watty award in Nov. 2022 for my Paranormal Mystery "Blend".  🏆 I also received recognition for "Best Characters". Blend dissects some tough topics in our society but I balance it out with humor and romance, of course! :D  🏀 👻 ⏰ 

📝I am also currently working on a YA Paranormal story called "Heart of Sparrow". It features a mixed teen who just finds out she is part witch, part vampire! 🧛‍♀️ 🧙‍♀️ 🩸 

📝And my other passionate project is "The First Queen". A YA fantasy that seeks to represent more melanin in this particular genre ;) 👑 ⚔️ 🥷

1. I have 3 little furbabies. 
2. I'm mixed and tend to write about mixed-race protagonists. 
3. I hate milk. 
4. I'm a lefty so scissors aren't my friend. 
5. I secretly wish I was a plus-size model. 
6. If I could be any monster of the night, it would be a vampire.
7. I'm a descendent of royalty. True story. 👑
8. My favorite book to date is Six of Crows, while my favorite book during high school (that inspired my first work on Wattpad) is Mara, Daughter of the Nile. I'm also a huge fan of The Cruel Prince series, Crescent City, Legendborn, Dove & Serpent, Children of Blood & Bone and the list goes on and on and on.
9. I once loathed reading. 
10. I'm still working on my craft (who isn't?) but I hope you check out a story or two! 💜
