I was just told something an abused kid never wants to hear... my parents are dating again. After they divorced because he was emotionally abusive, controlling, and scary af when he was angry. I self-harmed for years until I moved out because of the way he made me feel. I'm kind of furious? Mostly, I feel betrayed. I'm not supposed to tell anyone but I feel like I'm going to explode.

@WithLoveAndCupcakes  i am sorry for you and i somewhat might now how you feel but prob not ..5 years ago my mom met this man and we have been living with him in his house till this day and he likes to abuse me and my mom when ever he gets mad my mom says she will leave every time but she doesn't  she says it is better for my little brothers to have a dad but I was fine without one .She always chooses  them  over our safety  and I am planning on just moving out but I don't want to leave them alone with him.. :(

i’m so sorry my parents broke up but never got back together then my dad cheated on my mam that’s why they broke up and the he always went down the country to go to his girlfriends and then last week he kicked me my mam and sister out of the house but please try not to relapse your worth it and shouldn’t do that to yourself because your perfect but be safe i’m always here to talk xx

@WithLoveAndCupcakes when I was younger I wished desperately  for my parents to get back together. Now that I’m older I can see that my biological mother is toxic. If they got back together now, (which they won’t because my dad is happily engaged to my mom) I would leave. O would go literally anywhere else.

I absolutely love your work. Right now I am reading "The darkness will come to light". I love your writing style, and I think you did an exceptionally good job making Stephenie Meyer's characters sound like themselves and have the same personalities as in the books. :)
