Dark Fantasy weaves together the gloomy and twisted paths of horror with the ethereal heights of fantasy in just about any combination we can imagine. Stories can be horror with a helping of fantasy, or fantasy with side of horror, but they will have a touch of darkness somewhere.

From enchanting sorcerers in decrepit keeps, through magical communities with serial killers in their midst, to nine-foot tall, snarling Orcs on a bloody battlefield, or a young wizard attending  school to be trained as a zombie hunter-the genre of Dark Fantasy derives its magic from instilling true wonderment and a sense of horror. It uses thorough world-building, alluring and diverse characters, and ominous settings and situations.

Dark Fantasy incorporates darker and frightening themes. Beware-feelings of dread may occur.
