Hosking is a wife, mother and poet. She sold her first story, "Carousel", to the anthology Forget Me Knots... from the Front Porch, editor Helen Kay Polaski (Obadiah Press 2003). "Carousel" was reprinted in IDEALS Mother's Day (Guidepost 2008).  

As a poet, Hosking has worked as a poetry editor for Mamazina Magazine. Her poem, "A Portrait of Motherhood", appears in the spring/summer 2011 issue. She is a regular contributor to the Mamazina Blog http://mamazina.com You can read more of Hosking's poems at the blog and on her website. Hosking's poetry has also been included in the anthologies Cosmic Brownies and From the Heart.

Stone Crowns Magazine published "Spikier Spongier" in issue 2 (November 2013). "Desperate Poet" was published on the Narrator USA website in November 2013 and reprinted in Poetry Nook volume 4 February 2014. Hosking will be participating in NaPoWriMo this April.
