Hey Guys!
          
          As you all know, CAKE will be ending this week, Wednesday, to be exact. I'm excited for its ending but also really nervous because it's been my main book for 3 years. I appreciate those who have been with me on that journey; now it's time to open a new chapter on my journey, figuratively and literally. 
          
          I'll probably take a Hiatus that could last for one week up to a month. During that time, I'll be focusing on my next project: Mother, May I? (the rewrite). 
          
          I will start the last book of the CAKE series (THE LAST DANCE) halfway through MMI? or once it's finished so I don't have to focus on two things at the same time and end up having to discontinue a book like I, unfortunately, had to do last time. I'm excited about it but when I start it, I want it to be my only focus.
          
          I hope you all will continue to support/follow my journey!

          Recently, I had someone I know in person tell me that they're over my book, and the characters are annoying and more things of the such. I don't know if you guys have noticed, but I'm very insecure about my work, not because I think it's entirely bad but because I don't have professional experience to be an author.
          
          So I did lose motivation this week, and it almost made me want to quit writing altogether, especially since I've been writing CAKE for nearly 3 years.
          
          I was starting to get out of the funk I was in and started on the next chapter and then bam... I'm sick. If I feel better, I hope to get out at least one of the two chapters that was due this week on Sunday but if I don't I might update 4 times next week or try my best to. 
          
          I especially wanted to get a chapter out for Valentine's Day even though I'm sure I'm the only single one. But things didn't go to plan, so I apologize and hope to see you guys soon!!

          I was getting ready to get back into it today, and try to get back on track when I realized the first chapter I published was in 2021!!!
          
          Guys, it's freaking 2024! I've been on this BS for 3 years?!??!?!?!?!? Technically October makes 3 years but still, it's close enough. I'm sorry I've been dragging yall on for a long time. You all are probably as annoyed with the book as I am. 
          
          I never realized that it's been so long since I've started CAKE, but I hope to see it end. I don't want to abandon it like I did 50 Shades of You. But it gets so hard when I have little motivation to keep writing, especially with the obstacles in my life. My time will be divided so I can make more income to move out from my mom's. Nobody really gets you ready to be an adult so when you enter adulthood you always have to figure that sht out for yourself. 
          
          It's a New Year, guys. Let's see it to the end. Let's not give up on anything!

          It's becoming too often that I give an update that I won't be able to publish on time. I'm sorry about that, I had an accident early this morning and honestly, it's affecting my ability to finish this chapter today. But I'll try to update either tomorrow or Friday. I apologize.

          I'm traveling today, so either once I get to my destination, I'll publish a chapter, but it's a little unlikely that I'll get any updates out this week due to the vacation I'm taking.
          
          I was doing so good and then bam. Well, I know you all are pretty understanding, and I thank you for that!

          I think I've made the decision to go ahead and take down the old MMI series since I'll be rewriting it anyway. 
          
          At first, I wanted to keep it up so that everyone could see the difference in my writing style, but honestly, I've grown quite sick of the constant comments of: "I'll need to wash my eyes after reading this" or "This is disgusting, I can't read this" 
          
          I get it. The way I wrote it back then is pretty gross. That's why I've decided on rewriting it. BUT it's more annoying since in the description of the old book, there is a warning that literally states that they two main characters are not biologically related, and I still get a-holes in the comments being quite... 
          
          So yes, I will be taking down the series or maybe for now just the first book of the series and mess with the others when the respective book comes out.

          Updates for CAKE will unfortunately be late this week as I realized I was writing a chapter I have decided not to keep for the book or in other words, I had been writing the wrong chapter for days that was no longer relevant to the plot of the book. So that has pushed me back a little and I know I won't be able to get a chapter up in  6 hours (because it's almost 6 pm for me). Hopefully, I'll be able to publish it tomorrow though.

Hey guys!
          
          I apologize for not making any announcements as to why I haven't updated in a while. I just finally realized that working really drains you, and sometimes you don't have time to enjoy the things you love.
          
          I absolutely love writing but ever since annoying dumb things have been happening at work, I've found it almost impossible to get a flow going for CAKE which is odd because all throughout the day, at work, my head is full of ideas. 
          
          I was meaning to update today since I wasn't able to go to work and I might be able to get something out before I go to bed, but if I don't I'll try to have something out on Wednesday. (We'll be working only on weekends for the next few weeks until the season ends in September)
          
          I'm so very excited to get back into my groove when it comes to this book, as there are various parts I absolutely love and want to share with you guys.
          
          So once again, I apologize for not being able to update even though I've had all the opportunity to do so... my brain is just blank when I get to my laptop most days. Hopefully, I'll be able to get something out by midnight.
