Hello!

I have written all of my life.

Started typing my first novel at the age of two and just never looked back. 

At the age of 12, I won a coveted Blue Peter badge for writing a script for Grange Hill. 

At 15, I was a regular gossip columnist for Gay News, alongside my lifelong friend Jane G. 

Then at the ripe old age of 22, I won a computer in a Write A Blockbuster competition for a national women's magazine with something I cobbled together in an hour. 

Wrote Mortal End: A Simmering Pit of Jiggery Pokery in 2003, after almost dying in my second car crash of the day....returning from a crime-writing course hosted by author Val McDermid (Wire In The Blood) and have recently published it, along with a crazy book of alliterative stories called Pocketful of Poesies: Absolutely All Artful Alliteration. Not an if, and or but anywhere to be seen!

Apart from being an author, I am also a photographer. My graphic designer husband James and I are the brains behind the 100% Photography books series, starting with 100% Simply Perfect Photographs. 

Before dedicating my life to creating books, I was a talent booker/ co-ordinator/ producer, working on big shows (Golden Globe Awards, American Music Awards, People's Choice Awards, Sony Radio Academy Awards...) on both sides of the Atlantic.

Now I am as poor as a church mouse, typing the next book in the 'Mortal End' series, in a dingy attic but am as happy as can be.
