Someone brought a SNAKE to school and let it loose in the CAFETERIA just now

@TheMoonLark15 That person must have gotten the shock of their lives.

@TheMoonLark15 I'm going to be very honest here. I would've started screaming and left the cafeteria. You think living in Africa would give me some sort of tolerance for them but I'm deathly scared of snakes.

The fastest land animal on Earth is a teenager whose mom just texted she's on the way home and you have done absolutely zero of the chores you were told to do

I just got done putting my new bed frame together all by myself and I gotta say I'm quite proud of myself!
I did it all on my own with only one mistake that did require me to go out and buy another bolt but it was only 89¢ so it was fine.

But like bro my mom kept telling me to wait for my dad to get home the last 2 days so he could help me put it together but by the time he got home in the evening he was always in a mood bc he hadn't eaten all day and it's impossible to talk to him when he's like that so I just did it myself. Like I don't need no man to help me I did this all by myself! It's also been a nice distraction from things

@TheMoonLark15 Well done! You should be proud of yourself for putting an entire bed frame together.

So I pull my bed back and grab the screw driver thats on my room to tighten it. Doesn't fit. It's a flat head screwdriver and it took a Philips. So I go grab one. Philips don't fit either. By now I've destroyed like half my room trying to fix my bed and I'm getting really angry and frustrated. It's 12 at night, I'm sleep deprived, I have to get up in 5 hours, and I'm getting hungry. Not a good combo. So I go searching for a dang screwdriver that will work. Its one of those weird six sided screwdrivers that was supposed to work. I eventually found one of my dad's tool boxes that had a socket wrench and all the sockets and stuff. I took the whole thing so I wouldn't have to make my 10th trip out to the garage that night again.

Basically I spent the next 45 minutes putting my bed back together and tightening every single screw and bolt on this bed. I'm tired, frustrated, hungry, I get up in less than 5 hours, and I got a ton of schoolwork to do tomorrow yay

Sorry for the long rant. I REALLY needed to vent my frustrations. Now I'm gonna try to sleep for the next 4 and a half hours

@Parkers-In-Crime oh 100% and it's even worse bc all the bars that have come off it the structure is compromised so the 4 corner posts aren't stable and they wiggle and lean extremely far down. I tried fixing it with a rope but I need another one for that to work

So by this point I'm getting angry. I go out to the garage for probably the 3rd time at this point and go grab more zip ties cuz that's gotta work right? But wait don't we have some heavy duty zip ties somewhere in the jungle? Yeah we do so I began the hunt for the heavy duty zip ties. That takes about 10 minutes. Found them and I go to put the zip ties on. Got about three on and I go to put another on but my nightstand is in the way so I push it aside and guess what I find? The damn knut. It was right there the whole time. I'm like are you kidding me? Deep breaths deep breaths. So ofc I cut off some of the heavy duty zip ties so I can put the screw in. Had to find some heavy duty scissors to cut them. Then it's a whole process to get the knut on the freaking screw and use the wrench to tighten it. But ofc after I do that there's another problem bc what else would I expect? No the pole on my bed is literally angled like it's about to break. My whole bed is like that. And I knew a screw on the other side of my bed was loose bc I've been hearing that and the washer that's on it clink together.

So it's 12 in the morning right? Well about 2 hours ago I'm just chilling in my bed watching TikTok on my phone and I turn over and I hear something hit the ground and my bed literally drops like 3 inches.

I knew what it was right away. The damn knut and screw came out again. My bed is old ok? It's literally falling apart. Anyways so I go to put the screw back in. No knit to be found. I looked and looked couldn't find it. Then I started doubting there was a bolt to begin with bc last time I did this I could have just put the screw in the socket and have been done with it. Im like ok guess I gotta go find a knut. I remembered seeing one in the junk drawer in the kitchen so I go all the way to the kitchen and grab the wrench and grab the knut. The knut don't fit. So I go on the hunt out in our jungle of a garage for a knut. I can't find one single knut. I spend probably 20 minutes looking for one. Not a single one. Then I spot some zip ties. So screw it I'm zip tying my bed together who cares? As long as it works. Well it didn't work. I put three zip ties on and as soon as I sat down they snapped and I fell.

I JUST HAD THE BEST FREAKING DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!

There was an anime con in town and there's literally never been anything like that in my state before as far as I knew or at least within driving distance but this was at a place that's literally not even 30 minutes away!!! So I got to go and there was so many cool people there!!!

Including voice actors and people with absolutely jaw droppingly incredible cosplay costumes! (Btw I dressed up as Trafalgar Law after the time skip from One Piece. It took days for me and my mom to make it but the results were amazing)

But anyways guess who some of the people there were? DANTE FREAKING BASCO AND GREG BALDWIN!!!! AKA ZUKO AND UNCLE IROH FROM AVATAR!!! WHERE MY AVATAR FANS AT?!

The line for Dante was so long so I didn't go to his but I went to Greg's since it was a lot shorter. I wanted him to sign a notebook I had since I didn't have any avatar merch( I ended up getting a free picture of smug Iroh in the show at the table that he signed). But turns out autographs were a jaw dropping $50 period.

And I wasn't gonna do it at first but then I was like if this is the only thing I buy from this convention then it'll be worth it. So I just decided to do it. But my card ended up being declined bc I didn't have enough but y'all. He still freaking gave it to me!!!! He had said he loves seeing the joy and smiles he brings to people when he gives autographs and photos, so he told me to just take it, that'd it'd be ok! I was about to cry!

But that's not even the best part! On the little sign where it was listing prices and stuff it had said hugs were free.... Y'all I got to hug Uncle Iroh!!! It was the best thing ever!!! I think I did cry after that!!!!
