I had to take down my Faceclaim book due to harasssment. Someone had an issue with my adding nationalities of the face claims (since people like me like making diverse OCs for inclusive it’s and benefit when I know the face claims nationalities/family history. They called me racist for adding it in, though didn’t sugguest what to put instead, and continued making accounts to spam the book. Please, if you ever have an issue with anything I put, just talk politely to me and sugguested what to put instead and I’ll change it :) I just wanted to add a range of ethnicities, disabled and gendered face claims and someone took an issue with that. Please let me know if I’m actually in the wrong but in this case, it was safer to just remove my book.

@SuspiciouslySav my mom always told me to pray for the idiots. So I’ll pray for the idiot that spammed hate and whatnot.

@BloodiReaper12 I’d understand that if I’d just put that the actor was Mexican or Mexican-American but it was in a section just for historical family descent. The born/main nationality was a separate area and just said American. I always used what they went by in interviews as I wish to respect their own words. But yes it’s a tit for tat, especially because I think the way we see it varies from place to place. I was raised to embrace culture and respect everyone but I get that if someone grew up where that wasn’t the case, it might seem like it was specifically pointing it out. I just wish the person commenting had written why it bothered them rather than spreading spam hate across the book but from what it seemed like, they’d been doing this to other people too. But either way, just to be safe that I didn’t offend anyone accidentally, I took the book down. I think it bothered me more that they didn’t have a genuine conversation like us to discuss it so I could understand what they meant, they just started spamming and harassing other commentors :(
