Mercedes

There is not much to know about me. I'm just a girl who hides behind her words and hopes for the best. So, here are some words:

It will never be enough to explain to you how my world works, how the rain smells of sweet honey dew and falls like feathers. It will never be enough words to explain how the trees sigh when the moon peaks over the mountains, glad that the heat is gone, even if it just be for a few minutes. No words can describe how the clouds look like cotton-candy and taste of home.

There will never be enough words, enough time, to explain how the morning dew soaks through your tattered shoes as you stalk your target. You will never understand all the thoughts that run through my mind, of how this world has entrapped my soul and reality. Because you will never see it as I do when words fail to compel the beauty of it all.

My writing is my home, my heart, my everything. My heart pounds as I write scenes of intense battles. My eyes see inspiration even in the darkest corner. And when it all comes crashing down, I will too. 

Just as the waves hug the side of the boat, begging it into submission, I will hug onto to my words, not letting the reality of things bring to my knees.
