To each and every person who is reading
my Joaquin story "The Wind Beneath Our Wings"
I just would like to say a heartfelt thank you.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this modest story.
This story is very personal and I know it might not make sense, from time to time, to some of you.
But the fact that you still take time to read it, despite the strangeness that this story is filled with, means much more to me than you will know.

Thank you to each and everyone of you.

It seems to me that my childhood memories are going away from me at the speed of light. I wasn't prepared for it.

Within only a couple of days, this world has lost two people whom I associate my fondest childhood memories with:

Mark Hollis, lead singer of the English band "Talk Talk"
          and
Luke Perry, American actor whom I'll always fondly remember for his character of Dylan McKay from the cult series "Beverly Hills 90210"

Mark Hollis and Luke Perry... I've loved them since I was a child.

Mark Hollis was a musical genius. Very talented yet so discreet.
As for Luke Perry.... He was my first star crush, as a child.
How can I ever forget his portrayal as Dylan? Such an iconic character.

          Mark Hollis and Luke Perry...
They were familiar faces, familiar voices in my life.
To think that they're gone forever... I still can't believe it.

          Mark Hollis (4 January 1955 – 25 February 2019)
          Luke Perry ((October 11, 1966 – March 4, 2019)

          I'll miss you both, dearly.
          Rest In Peace.

Dear John,

Thirty-eight years ago, you were taken from this world in the most cruel way possible.

You had so many years to spend in this world, with your family, your sons and your friends.
A peaceful, bright life was laying ahead of you.

But all that was taken away from you abruptly, cruelly.

          You're gone.
But your memories are still here. Your music and your struggles to bring Peace to this world continue to inspire us.

Even people like me, who never met you and who weren't born at the time you were here.

Thank you for giving us your beautiful music.
Thank you for being an inspiration to me in every way possible.

Your light will always shine on.

          I love you, John

Remembering George Harrison on this day...

He was a beautiful human being, a beautiful Soul.

His beautiful music, his courage, his peaceful and humble nature are a source of inspiration for me, every single day.

His Life has flown away, but his beautiful Soul remains.

My thoughts and prayers are going straight to the people
          living in London today.

The first thing I saw on TV this morning was the news regarding the terrible events that happened yeserday night on the London Bridge.

          I couldn't believe it.

In less than 2 months, the United Kingdom has been targeted three times by terrorist attacks.

          How is it even possible?

How is it possible to kill innocent people in the name of a so-called religion, to take revenge or for whatever other reason?

To all of my English friends here...
My deepest thoughts and prayers are with you.

          Love,

          Diana

Merry Christmas to all of you, my dear friends!

My head has been filled with thoughts of John all day long,
          today.

Thinking of him, missing him, trying to celebrate his music and his memories although I feel sad inside.

My thoughts and prayers are going to all those you loved him
          and whose lives he touched.

          Yoko, Sean, Julian, Paul, Ringo...

Through his music and through his struggles for Peace, he made an impact
          on our lives also.

          Let's be thankful for that.

          You're not forgotten, John.

Celebrating George's memories on this Special Day.

Let's not be sad thinking that he left this world.
Instead, let's be grateful that he was in this world,
that his music is part of our lives.

What a wonderful man he was.

Your light still shines on, dear George.
           You're not forgotten

Wherever you are, I hope you found Peace and
          that you're with your God.

Happy Birthday, Dear John.

Thinking of you and missing you.
Eventhough I was not born when you were in this world.

I'm wondering what the world would be like if you were still with us.
I'm trying not to feel sad and to celebrate your memories.
Because I think this is the way you would like it to be...

But it's not that easy not to feel a hint of sadness...

I'm sure you are rocking up there, with George.
Making Heaven a more beautiful, more lively place.

          Keep rocking, Johnny Boy

Three days have already gone since you left us...

I'm still trying to register the fact you are no more.

          You were a musical legend,
you touched our hearts with you versatile musical talents.

You were an artist who always succeeded in re-inventing his artistic identity and hi style.
You never wanted to be put into one defined box, to be limited into any kind of boundaries.

Now that you're gone, nobody will ever be able to replace you.

With you gone, I feel like I lost yet another piece of my childhood.

          Rest in Peace, Prince.
