//honestly, I kinda wanna do more angsty roleplays with Stanley because I have so much angsty headcanons for them.
Like, we see that they’re always so happy all the time and nice to everyone. Probably because of the abuse from their father (and it was implied that their mother is no longer in the picture, probably left them) and they don’t have many friends.
Even their friendship with Syd (even though I do love Stan and Syd’s dynamic) feels so one-sided. They want to be friends with her but from the beginning, she states that they’re weird. It really doesn’t seem that she cares about them. I understand she has a LOT going on, with her dad dying and new powers she can’t control, but she blatantly ignored the obvious abuse Stan’s going through.
Stanley is literally wearing a mask, acting like they’re fine but they’re not. They could scream and no one would hear them or they wouldn’t care.
I just want to see Stan break down a little and admit how they’re truly feeling about everything because their feelings and emotions are valid too.
Stanley Barber deserves better.
