If i wrote a YA novel would anyone actually read it?

@Sarcastic_central of course you should! I think you have a talent to write any story you want, even an original story, there will always be people to support you. Always do what you think is wright, that is how you accomplish things:)

I just put a lot of my stories on hold/discontinued them. I realized that I tend to overwork myself with too many projects at once and hyperfocus on one for a while without acknowledging the rest. So, at the moment, I'm solely working on Blue Bell. I definitely have some Ideas that I'm gonna start working on on the side, but once Blue Bell seems to be in a good place with a lot of drafts saved up then new work will be out soon or I'll start up some of my old work I have on hold.

The Star Wars universe officially has my entire heart and soul and I'm 20 chapters deep in writing a story for it but I'm scared to publish any of it because i want it to be perfect :'(

Please answer if you read this!
When reading a story do you want the main character's background to be completely written out for you to follow along from start to finish, or have the story completely told and then find out where the character came from in a separate story like a prequel?

@Sarcastic_central I prefer the background to be explained in the story
