Mark Angelo Duetes

I fought countless battles along the narrow way. I have drawn my sword against dragons, lifted my brows against critics, gazed my blazing eyes against the odds, and slid all the way against total insanity. I am a conquerer, it's true. A peculiar, I am; a man existing once in a thousand years. You never will believe, for I am well aware that your foundation of reality is that very eyes of yours, which even gives you lies concealed. But to me, what I see or seem does not matter, for they are no more than real a dream. I have conquered my battles, but my journey has not yet ceased. I will still hold on to my sword and shield, flaming all my hair with scarlet dreams and flapping my silver-dazzled wings beneath the surface. Crowns I have had from battles, yet I am still to conquer countless battlefields to reign above my own.



This child who was born in freezing summer night, this child whose parents could hardly get a penny for living, and this child who gracefully and slowly moved within his mother's womb; His life shall never be in vain, for it is his fate to never be. And he shall live along with his extraordinary existence marked of uniqueness in his physicality. His name is Mark Angelo, and I stand as a witness of his life. For he is I, and I am he. Let this truth be unfolded through ceaseless ages.
