i saw some author bitching about how as a reader you should support the author by voting, commenting, sharing etc, that fanfics are not free and you should be appreciative that we're writing this for free. now the author deleted their books and said they'll not bring back the books.
why i agree that as simple as comments on our stories can bring us so much joy, you can't guilt trip anyone. it's not any obligation for them to vote, share or comment. i saw that even the readers were apologizing and lmao, that just looked very pathetic. it's your choice that you chose to write the fanfics free btw.

@thequadraticformula the author actually has 3k+ followers and i have ventured their books before and at least one book has about 50K reads, so you can expect how many votes and comments they get lmfao.

No matter how much or little your works get in terms of votes or comments only means something if you want it to. You know your own worth. It's sad when some writers (including myself) can get carried away with the numbers. I hope the readers didn't feel too bad...
