Okay, so I wrote one announcement, and for some reason it doesn't seem to have gone up, so I'm doing it again. If this is repeated to anyone, Wattpad has glitched again it would seem.

Those of you who know me, know that I am a huge fan of Formula 1 and I also love Lewis Hamilton. Those of you who don't, well here's one more bit about my interests and passions. What I assume many know, especially those who follow me or the Shakespeare Universe on Twitter is that I am also a big supporter of the BLM movement.

The movement has also been prominent throughout this season in Formula 1. Drivers kneel before every race, wearing "End racism" T-shirts over their suits. The message #WeRaceAsOne can be found all around the track as well as on the cars. It is meant to stand for promoting equality, justice and bringing awareness to the issue.

On Sunday, after his win at the Tuscan Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton wore a shirt with "Arrest the cops who killed Breonna Taylor" written on the front. Now, the F1 bosses are putting him under investigation to see whether he should be punished/given a penalty for wearing the shrit. This is not only an attempt at censoring the message he is trying to spread through his platform, but also negates everything that has been claimed and said so far.

There is a petition going around in an attempt to get this dismissed, and whether you are a Formula 1 fan or just want to help, if you have the time, please sign it and share if you can. Here's the link: http://chng.it/K7wc7NjBg9

Wattpad seriously needs to reevaluate some of it's Wattys sumbission criteria. How the hell am I supposed to summarise the plot of Shakespeare into 3,500 characters (including spaces)?!

Okay, I know we just went through this and while I know I might be a bit annoying, but guys... LOOK AT THOSE NEW SHAKESPEARE UNIVERSE COVERS!!!!! Camilla and I are in fucking LOVE!!!
(And just to be clear, yes, other books will be getting new covers too so the whole aesthetic ties in together, but considering it's almost two AM, that'll be tomorrow)

Fellow authors,
Do you guys know that feeling when you've written a story ahead, so that when you start publishing you have this big ass reserve of chapters, and then when you publish the first chapter you just want to go ahead and publish all of them?
Yeah, that's how I feel in regards to the newest fic on my profile (yes, there is yet another one)! If you're fans of Lost, fans of Sayid Jarrah and think he deserves a lot of love, then head over to Found and maybe you'll like it. I hope you do :D

Okay, I've just added a small bit to each and every introductory author's note in my books and am now going to say the same thing here so all my followers and the readers of my work get the same information (because I doubt any of you are going back to reread the author's note).

I am here to discuss a bit of Wattpad etiquette with you all. And that is in regards to asking and begging for updates. When it comes to my books, the comments on them, my DMs, or the conversations on my profile, do not ask for updates. This is something I find highly irritating, and most often they don't benefit anyone as they just stifle my inspiration and as a result the wait for the next update is longer.

By all of this I am refering to comments which say things like "Please update!" or "When's the next update going to be?" or "I can't wait for the next update!" I know rarely anyone does this or says these types of things with the intent to offend or be rude to the author, and you just want to show you're excited about the story you like and eager to see what's next.

However, in truth, they come across as pressure and demands and I am a person who resists to these things a lot. I can be in the middle of writing a chapter, or have finished one and am about to publish, and if I see a comment like this, I won't finish/publish it. Just because those comments make me so unwilling to do so.

So I'm kindly asking, all of my readers, to refrain from leaving comments, posts on my profile, or DM-ing me with these types of messages.

I just started reading your books and I am in love. What the heck, your writing is amazing. Can you give me some tips outside of your HP help book?

ProudToBeSarcastic

@sydmjolnir Honestly, the best tip I can give is make sure you're passionate about whatever it is you're writing, make sure you're inspired and have a clear picture of what you're doing. I know at first it can sound quite generic and cliche, but it really does work wonders when writing. Never forcing it and being in love with your story and characters just as much as you want your readers to be will bring so much life into it and make it a thousand times better.
