I am legit a ball of emotions right now. I am so appreciative of your novel and work: The Marvels of Priere Creek, but also left… I don’t even know the word I’m searching for to embody this emotion but it’s the feeling of looking forward to two beautiful people getting together in the end and finding out they don’t- we both know I’m not referring to Danny and Cady.

          Woe to me!

Now I’m a bit wary about reading the prequel.

But still thank you so much for penning it down. I really enjoyed myself.

Oh last encouragement on pleasing people.

I agree with you we can’t please everybody, even Jesus couldn’t. Instead we should endeavour to please God alone (1 Thessalonians 2:4).

            Bye ✌️

@_Shaelyne_ I sometimes make things hard for myself, but I won't bang my head on my keyboard anymore (metaphorically or actually.) LOL And there’s no reason to start on the prequel since I haven’t finished it yet. Studies are more important, anyway!

I love you. The names in your Prairie Creek novel have stories, and not only that, at the end of each chapter, you put something fun, such as the the stories behind what you've included in the chapter and story in general. I especially liked the picture of your OWN ancestors. How amazing is that? Not to mention i literally stopped reading the last chapter because you included a slow cooker beef stew recipe that I will DEFINITELY be utilizing. You are goals. I love history and cooking, reading and writing and you seem to incorporate them all fabulously. I also love how Jane initially was someone who seems kinda selfish in a way. But I'm starting to realize that she's not, at least in the way I thought. From the way she judged Val, Vel, and Prett, I was judging her. But we all are biased in one way or another, and she's not a standard perfect-in-every-way-better-give-her-a-too-pretty-flaw character. She's depicted as human, who has problems, gone through real trials, and who is fighting to stifle them and keep them out of a new chapter in her life. Not only does she have flaws, but they make her oh so loveable and relatable even if I sort of disliked her at first. But when I payed attention to her thought processes, feelings, and actions, I found I liked her a lot more.

Sorry for the paragraph, but I wanted to express my admiration for your writing, and all the thought you put into it.

          Have a glorious night,
          Ehlena ‍♀️

@Court_21 I'm afraid I haven't started on it yet. But I'm slowly working on the prequel, "Elly and the Road Less Traveled" which is posted here:
