Pixie Unger (1979-present) was born near Whistler BC, Canada. She initially started writing in high school as a way to escape from her life as a socially awkward teen with alcoholic parents. Pixie has spent the last 17 years working as a records clerk for a variety of health care institutions. She lives with her dog, Brin, in a small town in Saskatchewan and took up writing more seriously in 2017 after being teased by a (now) ex-boyfriend that her stories would never go anywhere.
The Luper/Ulfurinn universe was first created in 1999 while she was helping with Y2K compliance. Her editor keeps threatening to steal the three rubbermaid totes of hand scribbled manuscripts Pixie has written since high school and have them transcribed. Ms Unger has no intention of letting that happen.
