Pete Altieri

Pete Altieri was born in Bronx, New York and spent much of his childhood in Bethel, Connecticut. He currently lives in Central Illinois with his wife, Sheilie. They have two adult children and two grandchildren. He attended Western Connecticut State University and is a disabled US Army veteran who served during the Desert Storm era with the famed 7th US Cavalry at Fort Hood, Texas.

Pete has written hundreds of short stories, one novella, and Blunt Force Press published a collection of short stories, Creation of Chaos Volume 1 in 2017, his first novel, The Dreadful Lives of Enoch Strange, in 2018, and his second short story collection, Creation of Chaos Volume 2: 12 Ways to Make You Die, on Halloween 2019.  

True crime author and podcaster, Amanda Howard, said, "his writing is brilliantly terrifying and terrifyingly brilliant!"

Pete is also a voracious reader, and among his favorites are Edgar Allan Poe, Stephen King, HP Lovecraft, William Peter Blatty, and Ray Bradbury.

He will be releasing an illustrated novel, Deeper Than Dead, with artist Brian Uziel, sometime in 2020.
