Peggy Bird

A writer, with seven published romance novels--three more under contract--and dozens of memoir pieces in anthologies and magazines, I read voraciously and write every day. In addition, I create glass art which is shown at a gallery in my hometown. 

In my life I've been a puppet, a pauper, a pirate, a poet, a pawn and a king--no, wait, that's Frank Sinatra. I've been a nurse, a lobbyist, a consultant, a political staffer, an association executive, a wife and a mother. But my most favorite role is grandmother. It beats everything else by miles. All the fun and none of the hard stuff.
